Visual mood board
I find the mood boarding process so enjoyable and enlightening. It’s really interesting to see what themes and motifs come up.
There’s a gentle rawness that has emerged in my A Loving February mood board, images that represent a messy, imperfect version of love. Which feels very accurate for the season I’m in. Snatched moments of affection amidst the chaos of family life, seeking beauty in the small gestures and finding magic in the mundane.

Love songs…Where to start? Actually where to stop? The options are endless really!
The practice of curating a playlist is all about helping us root into our intention for the month, so I’ve chosen songs that help me connect with that loving feeling. Some have personal memories attached to them, some have beautiful lyrics that make me smile, or cry, and some of the songs featured just make me want to dance with my sweetheart.
It’s a personal practice, so I do encourage you to make your own. You could chose a particular sub-theme such as songs that celebrate self-love. But in the mean time here’s my eclectic indie mix for you to enjoy 💖
I’m finding these two practices such and enjoyable way to align with my monthly intention. I’d love to know if you’re inspired to do the same?
Sending a whole lotta love your way this month x
Thank you sharing the inspirational and creative post. They are two practices that I have avoided using the lack of time as my excuse. I love the visual component to Pinterest, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the amount of images. I might set a timer and just play around in that space more. I remember making mixed tapes for friends and boyfriends in the past. That ages me! I put so much time and heart into picking the perfect songs.
