Visual mood board
This is my third month of creating a mood board to align with my intention and I’m loving the process so much! Although I’ve used mood boards in the past, I’m finding doing it consistently each month a really powerful tool. I’d love to know if it’s something you’ve used in your intention setting practice.
As always it’s really interesting to see what themes and motifs come up. My board for A Mindful March features images that speak to the things that anchor me into mindful moments. It reminds me to find those moments of stillness amidst the chaos, to notice glimmers and to bring a little more ceremony and magic to my everyday.

Audio mood board
My inspiration for March’s audio mood board was to curate a playlist that could be playing during your favourite yoga class, or perhaps it would work well as a soundtrack a beautiful Springtime retreat.
It’s a lovely collection of songs that I’ve really enjoyed connecting to this month, both in stillness and in gentle mindful movement.
I’m finding these two practices such an enjoyable way to align with my monthly intention. I’d love to know if you’re inspired to do the same?
I also didn’t know you could link to a playable Spotify list on Substack. And I liked the way your mood board links to your Pinterest board. 💕
Charlie, this is brilliant!!! I’ve also used mood boards in my creative work (graphic design, website design, holistic interior design, book writing) - but I haven’t thought to use it for my intentional lifestyle design practice. You’ve definitely inspired me to give it a go!
And I like the idea of an audio mood board/playlist, as well. I’ve done this in a sense, I suppose - as I have a play list for my creative studio time, another that I imagine as a soundtrack for one of the books I’m writing, and another for when I’m out walking.
