Creativity, Contentment & Connection

How can we gently settle into the year as we show up online?

Hello lovely,

I hope you are continuing to move through January in a gentle way.

I know that showing up online right now may feel especially noisy, stressful, or downright dystopian, but I believe there is still so much connection and creativity to be found in our online spaces. And I know I, for one, will be making sure I seek out and nurture these connections more than ever this year.

Today I’m sharing a recent moment of online connection, in the form of an impromptu Substack Live chat I had with fellow creative mama, Claire Venus. It was a conversation sparked by my intention to “Show Up” this year—and what a joy it was to show up for this!

We cover so much in this conversation, from our creative processes when it comes to content creation, to how we navigate digital platforms like Instagram and Substack in a way that feels intentional and aligned. We also touch on consistency and some lessons learned from going viral.

If you’re craving inspiration to show up in your own way this year, I’d love for you to catch the replay. It’s a reminder that amongst the noise, there’s still space for creativity, connection, and meaningful conversations.

You can watch the video embedded in this post or if you would prefer the audio only - which is usually my preferred way - you can listen to the latest episode of Claire’s ‘Sparkle on Substack’ podcast on Apple, Substack or wherever you get your podcasts.

If you’re planning to make Substack a part of your 2025, I very much recommend Claire’s membership Sparkle on Substack, which I love being a part of. It’s full of brilliant resources and regular workshops to support you wherever you’re at in your Substack journey.

I’d love to hear what resonates for you in this conversation.
